A TAKE ON AQUARIUS
Personally, i have never had the warm fuzzies about Aquarius energy.
Aquarius is ruled by Saturn as well as Uranus, so there are two kinds of Aquarians. And two energies living side by side in Aquarian people.
My baby brother (rip) was an Aquarian and he was wonderful but had the extreme stubborn streak that Aquarians are noted for.
A fixed air sign means a fixed mind. And i see the Aquarian symbol as being electrical waves, NOT water! Aquarians and Aquarian types can be the most detached and non empathetic people, who only want to be with you if you have no problems. (i speak from harsh relationship experience here.) At the same time, they can be so helpful and friendly.
The US has had many Aquarian presidents....great like Washington, Lincoln and FDR and not so great, like Reagan.
The USA chart i use has Moon in Aquarius, which seems to really fit. Our women are the most independent and progressive on the planet in many ways. But the Moon is inconjunct the USA Cancer sun, which is incredibly difficult and makes us a divided country.
Cancer energy is very tribal, and evolved Aquarius cares about everybody as well as their close associates and families.
So Pluto going into Aquarius will bring all this to the forefront. US women will rise up and create the Blue Tsunami we have been waiting for and maybe then we can have nice things in this country!!
