I'm contemplating going to the Lake and meditating for a bit later this afternoon.

Making this day about gratitude and self care, creativity and looking inward.
Trying to scope out my next steps ...

Funny, I dont know if it is because I am such an "academic" or what, but the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah and the school year starting in Fall has always resonated. It's like this time of year seems to be a re-assessment and re-aligning goals...so that the seeds can germinate under the winter snow and in Spring I can finally leap ahead...

1. I am Wiccan-friendly

...but I go tp church. It was important to me today as we discussed the importance of children and how they teach us how to love. Also it was a beautiful fall day and I had to step out and just breathe the fresh air and listen to the falling leaves. Oh I love these kinds of days!
