Understanding lunations, i.e., Full Moons, New Moons, Solar Eclipses & Lunar Eclipses

The Sun and Moon are called the LIGHTS in astrology.
When a Full or New Moon forms, sometimes as a Solar or Lunar Eclipse, these are called Lunations.

If they are by themselves, such as:

Sun in Taurus ..................................................... Moon in Scorpio
you simply translate what you see focusing on the tension in the Moon in Scorpio

However, when another planet or more is involved, it becomes more complex.

Such as the one we are in right now:

MOON in Virgo..................................................................SUN IN PISCES
MARS in Virgo

Everything changes, the NATURE of aggressive Mars overwhelms the normal Sun/Moon Full Moon in Virgo
This is why you must use a grain of salt when translating a simple Full Moon in Virgo, you must add to it the AGGRESSIVENESS of Mar's nature.

To make it more complex, let's say you have this Lunar Eclipse forming:

..........................Uranus in Aries
..................................|
..................................|
..................................|
..................................|
Moon in Cancer.......................................Sun in Capricorn

Now, the triangle (T square) forming towards Uranus really makes things different.

What was to be a rather MILD Lunar Eclipse with the Moon in Cancer, now has become a rockem-sockem chaotic
t-square to Uranus in Aries
which will completely overwhelm the entire construct. This is why you must look at the whole zodiac as one big point of relative tension.

This will WILDLY affect planets (within 5 or 6 degrees of orb) in Aries, Cancer, Capricorn AND Libra!

I hope this helps you.

at 18 Virgo, while the Sun was at 18 Pisces and Mars at 12 Virgo, it was not in range to affect your Sun.

Are your charts digital or handmade or hanging on the wall or all of the above? I have imagined also a drafting table of sorts you must use to configure and read! But of course their's no need for old-fashioned ways. It's all done on your computer, right?

So while I understand this lunation will affect me, I still understand how.

My natal sun is 18 degrees Cancer, 12th house...

I'm still waiting for the effect...

besides scurrying around like manic beaver
trying to get all manner of work done...
I'm awaiting the enlightenment of the lunation..

(BTW, Virgo is in my second house of finance...)
heck, I work hard for my paychecks...

hitting in an "empty" house will bring you some illumination in your mind, but shouldn't be much more than that.
It doesn't compare to hitting a planet head-on.

The eclipse example I gave at the bottom was hypothetical.

The real Moon/Mars opp. Sun in Virgo was aroung 18 Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, Sag
