This damn "time-compression" thing...

This is the first thing that popped up on a search about the topic... so I am going with it, also, it resonates.

I know most of us here have been feeling it for some time now, and it just seems to be getting more pronounced as this "year" 2012 goes further onward. So, what has your experience really been? I am asking because i wonder if it is similar to mine, or are we all on our own timeline/rollercoaster ride...?

It's weird, there's maybe a couple times here or there (usually during big astrological movements, eclipses, retrogrades, etc) that time seems to be thick as molasses, like the energy is just tangible and I am 'swimming' thru the days...practically bored at night because it seems to drag on. but it only lasts for a day or two when the energy is really high. Lots of downloading internally, lots of emotional thickness and such too during those transits.

then it's like the rubber-band effect shoots us forward again, and the days fly by, next thing you know another week is gone, another MONTH! the days are strange. While time doesn't seem so fleeting in the moment, it still slips by faster...i will look at my clock and say "it's 3 already? it was *just* noon!"
those times also seem to be high energy, higher mental function, i am learning faster and getting more 'done'...also interesting is the heightened effect during a solar flare event, like i am BUZZING while the days is flying by... like the vibration of my 'self' is higher than the world around me, even though the world itself is going faster too...

so yea, I just wanted to share and note this phenomenon out loud. Get your feedback and see if any resident astrologers have any input... cuz today was one of those weird days that flew by, and I don;t think it was just ME, lol

I've had those same thoughts regarding time. And I have been wondering, my God, just how fast is it about to go??? I swear it seemed like from Easter to Mother's Day was such a blip! It also seems that when things are moving along (as far as personal progress, actual decisions/actions, and so forth), they are in fact haulin' ass! It seems that personal interactions where big ideas are being transferred are being molded to perfection.. Wow, this is a great subject you've started FirstLight...I am going to ponder this even further!

Yes FL, time does seem to be flying by, and not in a Piper Cub but an F-16, we're talking supersonic.
When time does start speeding up, I like to slow myself down and enjoy the wonderful ride of life, hope that makes since.

5. I get that completely

I have had the same experiences and perceptions. 20 years ago time was moving so slowly I never thought I would get through each day. It seems to have been speeding up more and more.

or maybe I've gotten way slower?

I found that it had sped up over the past few years, but now its taken another leap. I used to be able to do a few things in a day, now its one thing before lunch and one thing before dinner. After dinner its time for bed. And I'm tired by then too. I hope this shift gets over with soon or I'll just be getting up and going back to bed.

so there is a solar event brewing, should hit over the weekend... I'd love to hear if anyone has any time stories or feels the 'buzz'...

today was weird, seemed to drag a little bit, but then an hour would pass by in a blink when not looking

lots of stress and weird feelings from interactions, people are wound up i think...
