One thing I discovered is my inbox is now empty here. So I went back to the old place and copied all pm's that were near and dear to me. And then deleted them since that site is no longer 'protected.' Ya know, jic.
Now I am practicing editing: how odd that a few posts carried over here from May 2011. Maybe someone was just experimenting or something.

(273 posts)It's quite the change over!
Howler
(4,225 posts)It certainly was interesting.
Mum's none too happy with the changes, but she's starting to mellow into the updates now that she's had coffee. I think once everyone gets over the reactive "but it's so different!" stage we'll be fairly comfortable with the new layouts.

(13,428 posts)I am not as regular in here as some of the rest, but I do manage to read almost every day. Life has been a huge mery go round for the last few months between moving, my husband's and my own (yes, you saw that right BOTH of us) campaigns, and the finish of my busy season in the office. I just finished the last of my appraisal work this morning and set the auto respond on my office email to say I'll be back Jan 3rd. The campaigns are on a temporary hiatus, and the last bit of shopping is probably gonna be finished this afternoon. From here on out, it is just a matter of being where I am supposed to be at the appointed times and spending time with the family.
Here is a recent picture my husband put up on facebook that I wanted to share with you all:
The new stocking is an updated one for our daughter. Here is my daughter when we were out shopping last night:
Welcome to our world!
