When we communicated at a Greek Orthodox Church, we sang in their choir in a loft; you are somewhat transported.

The jurisdiction we're in now does not incorporate a loft in the temple design. We're up front in a section along side the solea.

The only thing, the rest of the faithful sees you.
I like being 'anonyminous'(!) 😉
