A famous exhortation from patristic fathers [paraphrased] is: "What good is it if you fast/abstain from food but then 'eat' your neighbor." Hypocritical.

Not strictly adhering to the prescribed fasting is not a sin. These are guides.

The Orthodox Paschal/Resurrection Liturgy [service] at midnight welcomes all. Those who held fast from the very beginning and also those who come to partake of this Joy even at the 11th hour.

If you have a chance, attending this service is something very different from Western Easter worship service. One can find themselves transported to a spiritual 'high'. Nothing disrespectful!
