1. "Fallen Catholic" here so no, but I did love the quote, "Catholics don't let friends vote for Trump"

And the ones still dying next January will be from Trump's uncaring incompetence too.

I just answered yes on everything.

My Social Justice principles are very Catholic.

My mom rejected the Church for other very good reasons (problems the Church is still dealing with...) but my siblings and I were raised with strong Social Justice principles.

My wife and I raised our own children Catholic and I'm not going to apologize for that. Being raised in a religion with strong intellectual traditions helps with understanding all religious traditions. All human institutions are flawed.

The religions I'm most intolerant of have anti-intellectual traditions. I'm intolerant of anti-intellectual traditions within the Catholic Church.

All children are born curious, and most adolescents push back against their parents. These are gifts that ought to be celebrated. The anti-intellectual religious traditions want to beat this curiosity and individuality out of their children, sometimes literally, and when they succeed these anti-intellectual religions persist.

Of course I am voting for Biden! I pray that any Christian who voted for Trump now recognizes their mistake. The only principle Trump stands for is Trump. He doesn't care about anyone else. Those who disagree with him and those who won't praise him are his enemies.
