I Wish More People Knew...
...that there are plenty of liberal Christians out there. As for myself, I remain agnostic...I just wish that those on the Right didn't appear to have a monopoly on Christianity.

(2,001 posts)We are not only out there but we are active. it is an embarrassment to realize that when people think of Christians they usually think of right-wing ultra-conservatives. We need to do a better job making the case that we are historically at the heart of faith and are currently active. I suggest we can make that case on the new religion forum--and just duck the stuff that will be thrown at us.

(7,608 posts)......have hurt the Christian message more than anything since the Crusades. Those who do not know anyone who is religious and liberal just think those people represent everyone. Makes me sad and mad.
