His voter-suppression laws and race-baiting attacks on teaching history and race make Florida hostile to Black, Latino and Asian Americans. Rising antisemitism (Florida’s most famous resident just had a film screening at Mar-a-Lago characterized by antisemitic swipes at Mark Zuckerberg) gives Jews pause about the state. DeSantis’s MAGA-signaling anti-immigrant and antiabortion laws repel more large swaths of the population. His banning of math textbooks should send educated Floridians packing. His opposition to Medicaid expansion and Florida’s excessive covid-19 death rate over the past year have sent many Floridians to the morgue.

if not, avoid Florida...allow the real estate market to crash, the cruise industry to sink, business to relocate or go bankrupt, universities to cut staff/close their doors...any entity that supports DeSantis and the republican should be starved into oblivion...money talks..no money screams...

let millions of people suffer economic hardship ( who ever they are, whoever they worship and whoever they love) and chalk it up to owning the repubs. A very Republican, right wing attitude, by the way? Or we could spend lots of money and energy to help Democrats win the next election and overturn all the crazy legislation enacted by the fools currently in government. That's democracy and the way we run things here. Destroying people is for fools like Republicans.
