(Jewish Group) Jesses Watters Uses Antisemitic Trope To Attack Bernie Sanders

The gist is this asshole, Watters (his broadcast on 7/21/22), attacks Biden by claiming the dirty Jew, Bernie Sanders, is pulling his strings in regard to climate change policy. OK, I saw this YESTERDAY, but the site was "Mediate" which is right wing, so I kept that tab open to see when it pop up in other media...NOTHING, until today, when it appeared on The Yong Turks YouTube channel, a far-laft site, which calls out the anti-Semitic overtones, then proceeds to attack Biden and Israel, so you can see why I won't that shit here either!

So, why is this anti-Semitism just casually overlooked? Frankly, I am pissed I am not seeing it in the Jewish media either. Does anyone have a link to a non-right-wing or far left source, let me know!

2. This is typical fox misinformation, but I think it is fox messaging to their viewers that the left

is controlling President Biden, (and by proxy the Democratic party), because Biden is "not really a progressive", who does not believe in the "left's agenda", and using Bernie Sanders as their symbol of the left, not because he is Jewish.

In other words, for fox it is more to divide Democrats among themselves, as they have been doing for quite sometime, thinking it will depress the progressive wing of the Democratic party from coming out to vote, and at the same time try to paint the Democratic party as "taking orders from the "socialist" Bernie Sanders.

4. I see ages-old antisemitic trope at work here.

It's not about Fox, or Bernie, although he happens to play an iconic role of the manipulative Jew here, or about Biden, or about "real" progressives, or any other kind of progressives.

It is about rehashing one of the most persistent Jew-hating narratives: the Jews pulling the strings behind the scenes to influence major world events in their favor and to the detriment of the "people", the latter being a very pliable term that can be applied to any group that is sympathetic to antisemitic sentiments. Predictably, it appeals to right-wingers and left-wingers alike.

This shit is as old as antisemitism itself.
