Mastriano is a QAnon supporter and January 6 insurrectionist who is running for governor in Pennsylvania. ....
On July 15, as Right Wing Watch documented, Torba responded in a video to criticism of him and Mastriano by singling out right-wing commentators Dave Rubin and Ben Shapiro as examples of people he doesnt want in his movement. Rubin and Shapiro are both Jewish; Rubin is also gay.
Torba stated: These people arent conservative. Theyre not Christian, right? They dont share our values. They have inverted values from us as Christians. So dont fall for the bait, right? Dont fall for the bait of Populism Inc. Dont fall for the bait of this pseudo-conservatism, big tent nonsense. This is a Christian movement, and this movement needs to be centered on the gospel and truth of Gods word and of Jesus Christ, our lord and savior and king. That is the only way that this is going to work.
Please note that this asshole is running against Josh Shapiro who is Jewish.

(5,180 posts)Josh Shapiro has been a great attorney general and he'll be a great governor. Do these so-called Christians have a problem with their Jesus being a jew and a rabbi? I'm not a believer but Jesus, Mary and Joseph I wish they'd all go away! (Zappa fans'll get it.)

Really? The Reich Wing is ALL ABOUT LEVITICUS... homophobic Leviticus.
UM. OLD TESTAMENT IS JEWISH.
AND JESUS was the one who was all inclusive, gave you reasons to not hate on Samaritans etc... JESUS IS the big tent guy.
SO IF Y'all are against loving everyone as it says in John 3:16 - For God so loved the WORLD.... then y'all are the fake Christians and any Jews that aren't hating on Christ are welcome too.
REICH WING CONSERVATIVES.... Haters gonna hate, what can you do?

(54,861 posts)That simply isn't possible as Judaism came first. It is Christianity that inverted Jewish values and beliefs! It is amazing the levels of hate and self-deception these assholes wallow in and expect others to believe them to be "true and honest" people.

(5,125 posts)Many Christians understand that Jesus was Jewish.
And doesn't inverse mean opposite? So if they are in opposition, technically it applies, but there is more similarities than differences because both are faiths founded in a moral code of conduct with a lot of side bar additional directions.
10 Commandments. Origin Judaism, Moses, Book of Exodus.
SAME BASIC MORAL CODE.
Kosher food, additional directions.

Mastriano has come into the public eye in recent weeks after US media outlets reported that he had spent $5,000 on advertising on Gab, a social media network favored by the far-right. The candidate has also reportedly paid for "campaign consulting" from the platform, with reports that new Gab users are set to automatically follow him......
."This is the most important election of the 2022 midterms because Doug is an outspoken Christian," said Torba in the video, complaining about the reports condemning Gab and Mastriano's decision to buy advertising on the site. "We are going to build a coalition of Christian nationalists, of Christians, of Christian candidates, at the state, local and federal levels and we're going to take this country back for the glory of God."
"My policy is not to conduct interviews with reporters who aren't Christian or with outlets who aren't Christian and Doug has a very similar media strategy where he does not do interviews with these people. He does not talk to these people. He does not give press access to these people," said the Gab founder. "These people are dishonest. They're liars. They're a den of vipers and they want to destroy you. My typical conversation with them when they email me is 'repent and accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior.' I take it as an opportunity to try and convert them."
Torba called Mastriano's opponent, Josh Shapiro, "a Soros puppet" (a reference to Jewish billionaire George Soros) and reiterated claims that he was involved in voter fraud in the 2020 election. Torba stressed that Mastriano "answers only to Jesus Christ."

(54,861 posts)I don't want anyone in office who does not place their duty to the Constitution FIRST! If they are so concerned about "serving two masters" then DO NOT run for political office and stick to the Churches and the Pulpits...leave the rest of us the FUCK alone!
