(Jewish Group) Dave Chappelle got one thing right in his already infamous SNL monologue
In Saturdays SNL monologue, Dave Chappelle offered a canny pro-tip to Kanye West.
Trotting out a variation on George Carlins Seven Words, the comedian said there are two words in the English language that you should never say together in sequence. And those words are the and Jews.
Hes absolutely right. Kanye Wests infamous tweet (in which he actually announced his intention to go death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE ) led to a near instant lock of his Twitter account. A scandal materialized, culminating with the rapper and businessman losing over $1 billion when Adidas severed ties with him.
They dropped him immediately, Chappelle said (erroneously they took a good long while). Wests downfall all comes, Chappelle reasoned, from breaking a showbiz taboo in calling attention to the large number of Jews in entertainment. But, in fact, you can feel free to say a lot about Jews as long as you dont say the words the Jews.

That shouldnt be the case. All bigotry should be subject to accountability, even if its obscured by innuendo or a punchline.

Just like his transphobic bullshit, there are those who are mitigating his anti-Semitism with cutesy words like "sharp wit", "pointed observations", "he is 'punching up'" (not true in the least!) and other euphemisms in order to prop up his bigotry. As with the bullshit anti-Semitism from "Ye" and Irving, we are seeing more and more people accuse Jews of being "thin-skinned and can't take a joke", at best, to being accused of being racist, at worst.
Jews seems to be a punchline many enjoy to "punch".
