"A chemicist, an astronomer, a Helium-3-miner and an asteroid-prospector walk into a bar..."

The japanese company "ispace" has sent a drone to the Moon as a proof-of-concept that they can transport freight to the Moon on demand. The drone will reach the Moon by end of April.

Why would somebody be interested in going to the Moon?

1. The low gravity enables the production of entirely new alloys and chemicals that are impossible to create in Earth's strong gravity.
2. Due to the lack of atmosphere and satellites, the Moon is the perfect place for a telescope.
3. Helium-3 is extremely valuable as fuel for fusion-reactors and for some scientific applications. And Moon-dust is full of it.
4. Due to the low gravity, the Moon is a better starting-point for interplanetary missions. One day, there will be a spaceport on the Moon.

100 years from now, somebody at Luna Spaceport will tell a joke and it will start with these words:

"A chemicist, an astronomer, a Helium-3-miner and an asteroid-prospector walk into a bar..."
