I scanned back and forth through that vid five times. Can you give a hint re: where in the vid the photos show up? I saw lots and lots of stock footage and some CGI stuff.

In his "Cosmos" television series, Carl Sagan observed that of all the worlds in our solar system, Venus is most like the traditional Christian notion of hell. The scorching heat, the crushing atmospheric pressure, the noxious atmosphere. The rocks on the surface, he said, are semi-molten and sluggishly flow. One would almost expect to see a fellow with red skin and a pointed tail clutching a pitchfork.

I learned back during Desert Storm (1991) to not fully trust what Michio Kaku had to say, because he was willing to opine authoritatively about things far outside his area of expertise. In 1991, it was the state of the M-! Abrams tank's ability to handle desert conditions, because all he knew were 80's criticisms and hadn't accounted for those criticisms being addressed and implemented in the ensuing years. And then there was his "like a bullet hitting a bullet" dismissal of the Patriot ABM system. Not that it didn't have substantial flaws, but he'd dismissed it entirely, even though it had proven (though less so than its Bush Admin fans wanted) results.

And Michio Kaku's specialty is not Planetary Science. To a limited level, mine is. So please clearly identify what he's promoting.
