It's such a shame he belongs to that cult. It'd be so much easier to admit to liking his movies...
One thing I have noticed though is that as he gets closer to middle age, the more frequently he seems to have shirtless scenes....

(17,505 posts)See... I find movies like the MI films to be a hoot and great fun.
But like with some SciFi films, I wish they were the same but with anybody but Cruise. It's not like he's the only choice.
These films have other stars in them. They have a small army of artisans and production people who make them possible.
But somehow it's always a "Tom Cruise" picture.
I made clothes for Mr Cruise in "Interview With The Vampire"...and I found him to be a jerk.
