Who would have thought that a neurosurgeon could also be a moron?

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson engaged in another round of climate change denial while also veering off into remarks about evolution and gravity during a Sept. 30 appearance at the University of New Hampshire, the New Republic reported.

“The way the earth rotates on its axis, how far away it is from the sun. These are all very complex things,” Carson said in response to a question from the audience. “Gravity, where did it come from? I mean, there are so many things. So I don’t denigrate the people who say ‘Eh, eh, whatever, somehow it happened.’ I don’t denigrate them. I just don’t have that much faith.”

So he doesn't have enough "faith" to accept a scientifically-explainable universal phenomenon but he has enough to accept that the ludicrous stories in the Wholey Babble are not only possible but true?

And the ignorant right-wingers have now put him into the lead of the Republican presidential race?

News story posted at Yahoo this morning. Hanging proudly in Carson's home is a painting of himself with Klingon Jesus:

Ben Carson's Home Is an Eerie Homage to Ben Carson

Neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, who continues to rank in first or second place in polls for the Republican presidential primary race, has what could charitably be called an eccentric taste in home decor.

A recent profile in the Guardian took a photo tour of Carson's home in Upperco, Maryland, and dubbed what it documented as an "homage to himself."

Carson's walls are covered with dozens of news clippings, honorary degrees and photos of him alongside various celebrities, dignitaries and world leaders — as well as full-size paintings featuring Carson proudly posing in his white coat alongside the lord Jesus Christ.

The woman who originally posted this called him "Klingon Jesus." I LMAO and then shamelessly stole it, because it fits so well.

And Mr. Blur below made me laugh too. Looking at Jesus' noggin, I had to wonder if it was some of Carson's work.

Maybe a relative painted it, no one would pay money for something that hideous.

Yeah, and he HAD to frame and display it, otherwise they would be offended.

It's the only explanation.

to the brain-addled, gullible-as-hell GOP, that is.

It's poetic.
