What the article doesn't tell me is:

• what was the HERO bill really helping with? (article vaguely mentions equality of access?)

• what was the real reason the religious lunatics opposed it? (I'm sure it's more than toilets)

10. It is indeed disappointing.

What I can't stand is the transphobia which was used to help pass it; shit I have seen here! My hope is it doesn't turn various minorities against one another. It shows their rights to believe are more important than those who want only equality.

When I lived there, it was a very open city...things seem to have changed with all the gentrification that has been going on.
