Yay! I got a new post in 'Religion' hidden

Posted a rant by a crackpot Orthodox blaming the islamist Paris attacks on the Mossad.

Someone took the pain to answer the obvious with due solemnity, i.e. that this lone religious youtube nutjob did not represent all of his religion of choosing (he's a converted Jew, apparently). That someone must have certainly thought he was telling me something I had never heard before, right?. I mean, it's not as if he had tried to lay the context for an alert, I'm sure. People are not that perverse.

I countered that it was just good comedy relief after Paris to observe how religion fosters religious mania and religious nutjobs (ISIS, this Orthodox Pope). Something that many mainstream believers in religion find hard to accept, I know.

After 10 posts back and forth about religious mania, the debate was brought to a halt by someone who thought it was the 'spiritual' thing to do to alert. Reasons for hiding were so literal (to shut off antisemitic propaganda) I will have to think about posting huge signs to spell the obvious. Something like quarter screen banners with subtle messages like: "The person posting DOES NOT SHARE the fringe views posted here, but does it for X, Y and Z reasons"

Thanks to the alerter anyway. I'm sure he alerted out of religious goodness
with a good heart, and the best of charitable intentions.

Aw, OK then. Even though I'd be hard pressed to even try to be an antisemite. Yorktown Nov 2015 #2

You weren't on DU2 when it was a constant battle to keep 9/11 anti-Semitic conspiracies at bay.

Even now posters are still trying to sneak in threads about them.

I can't speak for the jurors but I would have voted to hide as well.

Just trying to give you some insight on why jurors might have hidden your post.

But I will confess to a gallows sense of humor.
