I'm skeptical about stories where atheists "see the light" and become born again Christians. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen it just seems so contrived and convenient.

My dad was one of them. After really learning about Christianity he couldn't reconcile it with his faith in a higher power, so he became a Unitarian minister.

Christianity actually has very little to do with Christ. The movement was first hijacked by the self described "apostle", Paul, who never even met Christ. He changed it from a Jewish sect into one that catered to gentiles because that's where the money was. Christianity was later hijacked again by the Romans and altered to become a faith that could unify the empire under a single religion. Both times the religion was changed to fit the circumstances and it's still being altered today to fit various agendas.

KingCrockoduck (one of my favorite YouTube channels) posted a video detailing the truth about PhD Creationists. The vast majority of the time, their careers are abysmal and so they turn to pseudoscience. This is often why medical doctors sometimes turn into quacks.

I really enjoyed what he did with the scene from The Temple of Doom. I've got that channel bookmarked!

That's quite a racket they have going, all very credible if you're gullible - as most woo woos are, religious or otherwise.
