Here's another installment of the newspaper strip David Crane by Winslow Mortimer. This one from June 1957.

The Trinity Test. World's first nuclear explosion, Alamogordo NM, July 1945. The name "Trinity" was chosen by Robert Oppenheimer, as an homage to the poet John Donne. Though Donne could have probably done without that particular honor...

well drawn and simply explaining the symbols. It's just the theology with out the mind numbing stupidity we have seen in other comics.

But that second to last panel is definitely the Stooges. It's either Curly in a blond wig or Shemp's hair color is wrong.
