Merry holidays to all

I've concentrated on saying Happy Holidays, at least when I don't say "Bah, Humbug."

So far, the responses have all been warm, and usually saying the same thing back to me. (especially the bah, humbug bit)

I haven't had any bible beating bitcher complain about it, and certainly no concealed carry moran has threatened me for attacking x-mas.

So, be safe, enjoy your feed and drink, and be nice to the elderly and the kiddies.

Mary holidays. Or is it supposed to be Merry?

I am glad that you have not run into any War on Christmas nuts who are ready to harm you in the name of the season. I did run into someone who I said "Happy Holidays" to, and who answered with a loud "Merry Christmas". But I was unharmed.

Merry Christmas!

Even though I don't say much in the real world.

I've become sort of European in my view of Christmas. I don't believe it but I participate in it. Modest gift giving; and I like the lights, the food and the vacation. I'm even going to a Christmas eve service tomorrow night. My parents are getting old and there won't be many more for them. Keeps them happy.

...and I have gotten zero frowns or angry responses when I say "Happy Holidays". Most Texans are not assholes like Commissioner of Agriculture (gag) Sid Miller.

You all have probably seen this one going around Facebook.
