2. With all this Ukraine misery going on, I've noticed a self exam. On the one hand, I have a barely

controlled urge to want to be there helping, no matter the personal
consequences, and to want our govt to go there and get rid of the Putin plague once and for all. Then I think about all the possible explosive consequences of physical involvement, on a national level. I explain the desire to sacrifice self for others as soul expressing itself. There is no reason I see that my personal brain would sacrifice its host. So, I can feel within myself a force at war with reason. I can feel its goodness. If there is a God, it can't be the nasty, biased, nitpicking force that the people in your post so rightly reject. Thanks for presenting those who reject a divinity based on the worst human traits! If that's what your church is peddling, leave! You don't need that god! Listen to your better instinct, no matter what you call it!
