Atheists & Agnostics
Related: About this forumSharing a link that leads to some interesting reading.
You know how you sometimes click on something on the internet which leads you to content that includes more links and before you know it you've left the rabbit hole and discovered an entire rabbits' warren?
Well, this rabbit hole journey should lead to more sanity and clarity, not less.
OnlySky is a website devoted to secular conversations and values. I recommend it. It's a fairly recent resource, and they are still working out some bugs, but they have a lot to offer.
One recent article is this nice descriptive list of some important secular reading. 10 Eye-Opening Secular Books For a New Perspective.
Of course, by providing such links to these resources and reading, I run the danger of engaging in proselytizing. And as a non-believer, I certainly don't want to do that!
So, be forewarned, you may be exposed to ideas, concepts, viewpoints and information. Please gird your loins appropriately.

(476 posts)About dearth of books by black atheists. Suggested Sikivu Hutchinson, they added one of her books Godless In America. I emailed her, and she sent me signed free copy

I will look up the author you name.
I find it quite perplexing the number of black Americans that adopt christianity. Islam, not so much.
Cheers!

(1,853 posts)That the author sent you a signed copy, much less a free one.
Speaking of Black atheists, I think that I linked a story from the OnlySky website on that subject in this group sub-forum a while back. I suppose you could go to the OnlySky site and try searching by keyword, but as I mentioned earlier, that site still has some issues.
That being said, I swear to Dog that I don't work for them or derive any income from them whatsoever. You might suspect that to be the case, given how much I mention them. But I promise that they have no idea that I exist, kind of like Biblegod.
