(2,657 posts)confirmed by radar, and in some instances by other fighter pilots. The Gimbal video shows the object rotating in relation to the cloud cover beneath it, so its not just some feature of the imaging system adjusting the orientation of the object being imaged.
Are you suggesting that this is some kind of disinformation campaign by the Pentagon? Because if so, how do you explain the flight characteristics of the objects which seem to defy our understanding of physics, and what do you think is the purpose of the disinformation campaign?
Im curious why this is the second skeptical report on the phenomenon to appear on DU this evening just before a report is about to be released on the topic after weve gone for half a year without mentioning the topic on DU. Why now?
Here is an example of the credulous goofball fighter pilots talking about these encounters. Do you think they are a part of this disinformation campaign?

(49,020 posts)He has done a lot of work analyzing videos and explaining them where he has been able to. I posted this because I am a fan of his work.
I am a skeptic.
Does that answer your concerns?

(2,657 posts)The fighter pilots in the video are also skeptics, in that they admit that they dont understand it, and are disinclined to jump to conclusions. But unlike Mick West they dont disregard specifics about what they saw in order to jam a a square peg into a round hole. Im in the skeptic camp with the fighter pilots.
