7 Day NHC Forecast

https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=atlc&fdays=7

I'm not attaching the GFS model as it is insane. It develops the system into a hurricane, hugging the west coat of the Florida Peninsula. Then it crosses northern Florida going into the Atlantic, where it strengthens then backpacks across northern Florida into the Panhandle where it meanders for several days. Whew!

The European develops a weak low in the SE Gulf.

Because of my residence on the Gulf Coast, I am just an amateur observer. Has anyone else noticed the GFS forecast is usually more dramatic than the European model?

It seems to be the most consistent model over time.
