Station 42036 (LLNR 855) - WEST TAMPA - 112 NM WNW of Tampa, FL

Buoy appears to be right in the path of Helene. Winds are slacking a bit as eye approaches. Check for updates. If the camera is working, in an hour or so you might get a picture in the eye. Last report was 3:50 PM CDT so the buoy may be wrecked or out of power.

Still not within the hurricane eye.
