The sun pokes out before it sets as if to tell us it'll be back and the clouds will not prevail forever.
Sunsets on cloudy days you'd be surprised how often just before the sun sets it shows itself most often especially over the water..
Lends credence to the Egyptian myth of Apophis. That the red horizon says Apophis has been defeated and the sun will rise again.
