1. My family lives in Twain Harte

12 or so miles uphill. I live in Ketchum Id. We currently have 21 degrees, no frost. My record cold from last year was 18 below. Kinda makes for rough morning sometimes,- the only heat I have is a wood burning stove but I’m used to it. ( getting good at chipping the ice out of the frozen dog water bowl) I went to your area a dozen or so years ago and spent a year there. I enjoyed the warmer weather but was surprised how prevalent the “ right wing mania” had become over the years since I’d left. When I saw the Clampers mimicking the KKK in the Sonora parade, - I decided to head back to Idaho. Isn’t that Ironic, leaving California for Idaho to live in a more progressive area. ( however, I live in Blaine County, - the liberal island of the state) I’m glad you live in Sonora, a beautiful place that needs people like you.

this has been a red area since 1906. i moved here in late 1984 untill 2003. thats when my late mom passed . i am living in lo income apartments where i have now been for 16 years . note: when obama and biden got elected and obama re elected , there were huge streaks of blue on electoral maps which supprised me . u live in lovely country. many areas of ca are still solid blue . were here but u have to find us and we dont speek politics here except to the ones we really really trust. ps: i miss wood stove heat but not the cleanup and stacking the wood thereof.
