This will probably be the year's best meteor shower assisted by a lack of moonlight and very dark skies.

Weve had such overcast skies this year that my stargazing opportunities have been rare. The forecast for Wednesday is not too bad. One good break: I got up around 3 Saturday morning and went to look out the window, and a beautiful meteor flashed right across my view. I laughed with delight. Such perfect timing.

Snow flurries all day, melt on the road because it's above freezing, and is clearing up tomorrow and will be in the 40s the rest of the week.
Guess I'll get to see this one!
