Seeing lightning on west side of Patuxent river in Calvert County, southern MD.

1. we had thunder

and a brief rain. I opened the doors, calling for my kitty, and they were strong winds!

2. We had a second rain

With winds, thunder and lightening, and a heavy downpour. I am so happy because I did only limited watering of my gardens today.

3. GOOD!

We've only had one rain 'event' so far, but hearing thunder now, @ midnight, and forecast's for t'storms til 4 a.m. (Daughter's birthday, when water broke, headed for hospital a couple hours later!)

4. Now we're having a third!

I'm leaving my BR windows open because I love to hear rainstorms.

Only problem is my goofy little cat is out there. He likes to stay out all night but on an evening like this, I don't think it will be very comfortable.

5. OH WOW! Poor little cat!

Hope to get to SEE daughter later, as she's SO grown up, she'll work on fixing her new workplace on her birthday: Nursery School class room!
