Bereavement
Related: About this forumIt was 5 years ago, today, that my sister died and I finally found a perfect remembrance
I was going to just stay home and feel sad, but decided she'd really not be pleased at that behavior. Instead I headed out to pick up a few necessities and maybe it was time to find something fitting for remembering her.
She was an avid gardener and also loved Dragonflies. This was on display at the front of the very first shop I stopped at, so I took it as a sign she was glad I headed out. It's now in a prominent place, in my living room.

Perfectly lovely. And inspiring to others of us who may choose too often to stay home and cry.

Dragonflies symbolize transformation, adaptability, change and self realization in many cultures around the world. What a lovely way to remember your sister.
