Some of your Trumper relatives might show up and drive you up the wall. Sometimes I relish being alone.

Go back and volunteer….nope nope nope. I find I am just done. Loved my jobs, but I’ve done my part and don’t want to deal with the public, or superficial relationships.

any midsize.

Some facebook groups just might produce someone local. I get a lot of international people more often than most Americans.

You are the ONLY person I've ever met who is also a member!

I grew up in ECS. Became unchurched as I grew into a young adult. Years later my parents started attending a Unitarian Fellowship so I did as, the only liberal bastion in my ruby red adopted home 3000 miles away.

Very cool! Hi!

Yeah, I finally found a community and a new bunch of friends.

Unfortunately, we have suffered major losses of members in the past three years. One was my age (heart attack), the others in the their 70s and 80s (cancer). They were the foundation of our community. Plus, our Leader of 46 years retired and we're beginning with his replacement.

My only regret is that I didn't join EC sooner. I was a wandering Humanist.

I'm kind of a humanist pagan atheist. I find divinity in nature - it's where my "faith" lies (she will recover after we are gone, nature's rhythms resonate for me). Earth-based spirituality anyway..probably a little more "spiritual" than my parents. Not like I really do anything about it, just how I feel.

Our ECS was in Maplewood NJ.

Super gratifying to find you! I looked at their online site recently.
