(52,344 posts)Unfortunately the Asian place that sold them closed about 10 years ago and haven't found any near me since. My friend's husband is from China and he won't eat any for some reason and she doesn't enjoy any "unusual" foods. I was hoping he would be able to help me find a new spot. I got 6 feet for about $4. What a deal!
She wouldn't go near balut with a 10' pole. I love those too.

(2,054 posts)an associate took me to an Asian place for lunch one time and asked if it was OK if he ordered, I said yes.
He also would not tell me what I was eating, some selections were obvious, others not so much. One dish I really liked turned out to be... pig's ears!
