Actor Hyun Bin will star in the upcoming espionage action film Harbin, according to production company Hive Media Corp. on Tuesday.

I'm surprised Joongang Ilbo even plugged this production given their conservative nature. Hyun Bin was great in the drama Crash Landing on You, which netflix carries. If South Korea continues its rightward drift, I would expect that the entertainment media will be subjected to greater restraints by the Ministry of Culture and Sports as it was before the current democratic administration.
The discussion of Crash Landing on You in Wikipedia is very interesting particularly the Production section where it discusses how and when it was made and the dicey nature of national security law restrictions. I didn't know that the concept for the script came from an actual incident. I had assumed the story was complete fantasy.
