Understand that this young singer also lost her mother recently. It was reported on some South Korean entertainment sites on June 25. She sang this song in honor of her deceased father left in Myanmar after her family emigrated to South Korea. He was a popular singer among the Karen people according to one of her other videos describing her life as an immigrant in South Korea. This melody and song was originally composed and performed by Ahn Ye-eun, as part of the OST for The Rebel kdrama series.
