4. It was a good venue for Bernie

More like a rally than a debate, but he was no match for Hillary. When she's behind she's simply unbeatable. When she's ahead she has a habit of exhibiting new tics and mannerisms that people latch onto to dislike her but when she's behind she's focused like a laser beam and doesn't fool around.

She won this one big time.

11. Actually, I think that the moderators gave her more time to speak.

But, especially in answering the emotionally charged question about Cuba, Bernie was his usual honest self. He said what he thought and was just so honest.

I think he won.

His closing statement was wonderful. Energetic and strong.

I think Bernie won.

Hillary uses a lot of big words (so do I) and does not reach her audience on the emotional and spiritual and human levels that Bernie does.

Bernie's statement about how to pay for his health care plan was excellent. We already pay so much more for ouher healthcare than other nations because of the profits we pay to the for-profit health insurance companies that are involved in it that we could have much better coverage with lower co-pays for less money.

We pay a shocking amount for our healthcare than do people in other countries.

I also liked Bernie's statements about free tuition at states schools, colleges and universities and how he would pay for it.

I was pleased that at the end he reminded people that the benefits and wealth from the increased technology and trade have nearly totally gone to the very wealthiest among us.

I also liked his answer on Puerto Rico. That was great.

He was just great!

6. Tonight's debate I feel

Hillary Clinton demonstrated greater understanding of public policy and how to effectively accomplish positive change at the executive level of government.

I think Sanders has outperformed Clinton in some debates, but not this evening.

10. Especially when the tough question about Cuba was posed to him, Bernie showed himself

to be the most honest person on the stage.

He stood by his principled stance.

If we had opened up relations with Cuba many years ago, the society there would be far more open and free than it is now.

Being open with others and with people in other nations frees them from fear and enables them to be freer within their own countries.

Opening up communication with repressive regimes is the best thing you can do to help people who live under the oppression of dictatorships.

That's my experience and opinion.
