(167 posts)Sanders has to expose the façade that is Hillary Clinton first. After that he will expose the Republican party candidate. Then he will expose the Republicans as fringe party. They will lose their jobs. Voter suppersion will end. The democratic party will rejoice. New and exciting parties will arise and compete in a real way. Democracy will flourish. Everybody wins!!

(1,947 posts)The person using their sex to their advantage is Hillary. She has also used her sex to play the victim. Certainly you remember Her Corporate Majesty claiming Bernie was denigrating her as a woman when he said " we can shout all we want about guns but it won't get us anywhere"? I am sure you recall her playing the victim due to her sex then. So drop the crocodile tears nobody likes seeing others cry, be it fake or real.

(46,667 posts)Ergo gender, women getting paid the same as men, taxes and how dare you harp about her transcripts are all one and the same. And when you throw in the fact that Hillary is losing it big time, as in the video below, well there you have it.
I like this video too so I decided to add it

I signed up just to see the emails, everyday they just want a dollar, but today they are selling shirts as being part of history for the first woman president ... sad.

Oh yes, can't forget wth was said in those speeches and why Hillary thought it was ok to set up her own personal server rather than using State Depts' servers.
I've got a list. Bernie Sanders' tax returns are more than likely a non-story but not so sure about Clinton, Inc.

(27,835 posts)But it's not up to DU to determine who stands where.
In fact, when it comes to anything to do with the Democratic Party and its members, DU is in no position to determine anything.

(14,459 posts)You know that silly thing of, "Government of the people, by the people, for the people..."?
So we're just supposed to leave silly details like that up to the people in charge, and we have no say in it? Wow, that's a good one!
NanceGreggs
(27,835 posts)... not determining where the candidates stand.
What I said was: "But it's not up to DU to determine who stands where." And it's not.
"The People" have been speaking their minds since Iowa. The vast majority of Democrats want HRC as their nominee.
Funny how "the People" don't count - unless they're Bernie supporters.
My state said 80/20 we want Bernie. I'm a person in the US, and a member of DU. And the people of Iowa spoke loudly: "We're not sure about Hillary Clinton. We may want to try the old socialist guy."
DesertFlower

(29,047 posts)I like Sanders, for the most part, and the fact that he hasn't released them yet looks bad.
The transcripts are probably pretty interesting though. They probably didn't pay her that much to give them a lecture on morality and social justice.
Hydra
(14,459 posts)But I assume we'll never see the transcripts, so I voted for that. We'll see Bernie's taxes sometime this week, and Team Hill will be back to calling us racists and sexists again. Oh, wait- sexists in first post. I guess that's the default go-to when nothing else is available.

(56,582 posts)I honestly, honestly, could care less which particular vapid bromides Clinton used in her speeches to Goldman Sachs. Honestly. I have trouble believing anyone sincerely thinks she said something besides the usual focus-grouped pablum, but I'll give people the benefit of the doubt on that.
The tax returns thing is even dumber.
