Related: About this forumBernie supporters: a poll about Hillary vs Trump
I am genuinely curious about this. I haven't included any questions that ask you to declare who you're voting for, so this is not any purity or unity test.
I myself can't imagine believing as a Democrat/progressive/liberal that the outcome of a Hillary vs a Trump presidency would be substantively the same or that Hillary might even be worse. That genuinely makes no sense to me. But I've seen this sentiment expressed here on DU. So I thought I'd see how prevalent it is. When I use the terms "better" and "worse", what I mean is "better or worse in terms of my own ideals, values, special issues, and for the country".
Please do explain your answers in the comments if you desire.

(156 posts)would be be better than conservative leadership. for both presidency and congress. when Hillary is nominated i will vote for her in the general election!!! and i urge my fellow Sanders supporters to do so as well. we have to defeat the conservative agenda of bigotry, hate, and division.

(6,282 posts)However, I have no illusions about Hillary wanting to move the country forward. So in pursuing any agenda left of center or enhancing transparency in government, she is a step back.

(2,510 posts)I will likely be dragged kicking and screaming to vote for Hillary,
for that reason, and that reason alone.
(well, and to vote against Trump, but I could do that on a different ballot line).

(4,311 posts)I imagine that if Trump won, repealing Obamacare would be one of his "first 100 days" goals.

(26,314 posts)there was any institutional level resistance to the Turd Way of any measure and/or any issue solidarity beyond demographic focus points with the Clinton rank and file it would be a no brainer but I worry that Clinton with virtually unquestioned support may actually move the corporate and neocon agendas more effectively than Trump while further entrenching in the Turd Way grip on our party and hobbling even more the left.
