What are they saying was the reason for them.?

to get you to particular parts of the venue. I don't think that sign had anything to do with race.

With all the colors of the rainbow available to them, they had to go for white? I suppose they thought too many colors would make them look "gay" or something--can't have the seating chart look like the Pride flag now, could they?

Unless we find a sign that says "BLACK ELEVATORS"-- pointing to a stairway, of course, because that's how racists roll -- we'll be best off assuming that annotating a section, and not discriminating against people of color, was the goal.

The real story is how they didn't SEE it ahead of time. Clueless, clueless people.
