If it's any comfort, this stupid email story isn't even in the top ten "trending" stories...

...in my Facebook news feed, for whatever that's worth.

Perhaps we (myself included -- this has really made me feel very anxious) are overreacting a bit here because we've been able to feel pretty confident lately about a Clinton win, and now we fear anything that shakes that confidence even a little?

I think the media is making a big deal out of the story simply because there hasn't much else that fits their misguided sense of "newsworthy" to talk about.

The rest of the public, the low information voters who are the only ones left vacillating about their vote, might not give a damn or be paying that much attention on a weekend to a story that might just sound like re-hashed old news to them.

My biggest more realistic concern (when I try to set aside the irrational anxiety this is causing me) is that perhaps control of the Senate is precarious enough that even a tiny shift in Clinton support could hurt that.

worry me too much in terms of her winning the presidency. It's down-ballot Dems I'm most worried about; the thought of four years of Republican-led investigations makes me want to puke.
