16. The Democrats need to take the gloves off and borrow a page out of the Republican

playbook. What do you think the Republicans would do if the situation was reversed? They would go political napalm/scorched earth at the Democrats. That is what the Democrats need to do. Failure to do so means that we will be stuck with third world banana republic elections from now on.

They need to go after everyone that created fake news stories about Hillary, fought to hide what the Russians were doing from the American people, conducted fraudlent vote counts and so on and make them so toxic they glow. They need to publicly question just how far does Putin's reach go? Members of Congress? Is that why people like McConnell refused to let the American people know the truth about the Russians. While the Democrats are the minority in Congress they need to find a way to hold their own hearings even if they are held off site. If they make a biggest hornets nest of it the MSM will be forced to cover them. They need to publicly examine the issues of Putin/Russia, treason, ethics violations, and what do the Republicans have to hide that makes them so afraid to hold hearings, and so on. If they can pull in some Republicans like Lindsey Graham, all the better.

You can start with a coalition with what Republicans you can pull in and then go scorched earth if that does not work.

The GOP may control the Americn MSM, they do not, however, control the international ones. If the international news sources carried the Democrats' efforts is would be pretty damning for the US internationally. Donald Trump would be viewed as he really is, a tin horn dictator. It will become very difficult for Trump to negotiate new treaties if no one actually takes him seriously. I could see some countries allowing him to spin his wheels and use delaying tactics to see that nothing is actually accomplished. He might find out that he doesn't have the seat at the big kids table that he thinks he has. They may let him think that he does but actually have a lot of discussions without him around.

need the MSM anymore. Most people don't get their news from the MSM anymore. Look at how often everyday citizens pull out their cell phones and take a video of a police situation, post it on youtube and end up changing the narrative of the story. The interent played a huge role in the Arab Spring.

Trump is obsessed with the need to be admired and respected. He fears humiliation. Well the people can make it pretty clear exactly what they think of him and his family. The Trump presidency could litterly die by the cuts of millions of tweets, youtube clips, FB posts, and so on. This is a guy that doesn't believe in national security briefings and stays up late at night tweeting about SNL or some former Miss Universe. It won't take much for the people to continue to make him look like the idiot he really is.
