If the Devil had run for President would he have done it any differently then Trump?

Think of everything he ran on and the lies and despicable things he stands for:

Greed
Deceit
Vanity
Preying on the fearful and the prideful
Humiliating anyone who calls him out or sees him for who he is
Degrading women, minorities and disabled
Promising the lost their needs and fondest wishes
Ignoring the work and declaring his magical abilities to make the best deals
The list goes on and on...

It is amazing that I can see no differences for neither have any redeeming social value.

Both have their own agenda. I guess you could say that the devil is unconventional, too.

His cabinet. The untold wealth and how they got it. Putin's friendship and his welcoming outreach to dictators and cool disdain for those working for sustainable reasonable relations. His loathing of the physically attractive and the need for petty revenge.

How no one really knows what to expect next and how he can doublespeak in the same sentence and you hear his words but all you are left with is I hope he means something good. Then you find out he didn't.

Those around him are so opposite in desires from the freedom and equality and goodness that America has always tried to stand for.

From http://www.dumbingofage.com/2016/blog/antichrist/

A little context: the cartoonist, Dave Willis, grew up in a strict conservative evangelical household, and Joyce, the little kid/older kid/young woman in this progression is something of an alter-ego of his about how that bubble bursts for some people, and of some of the hypocrisies that manifest in the people for whom it doesn't burst.

Wouldn't have left so much to chance. Wouldn't have flip-flopped hourly.

No, Trump was just being his weak-willed, weak-minded self.

When he's done, you want him to have it.

The racist Cheeto uses his big mouth, and brutish tactics to bully what he wants.

The Devil uses his mojo.

Many folklore has him being out maneuvered. His "deals" go awry and he is out smarted or made to back down. After all, he is an outcast.

I see them both as evil and unassuming. Their rise to power comes from solid foolish belief in their facade.

Once he and Trump are exposed it would still take a lot of work to remove them from the their game.
