Watergate investigative reporter Carl Bernstein says 'fact-free' Trump is worse than Nixon

Carl Bernstein, a political commentator who is well-known for helping to break the historic 1970 Watergate scandal, did not mince words about Donald Trump during Sunday’s CNN interview with Brian Stelter. In fact, Bernstein whose investigative reporting with Bob Woodward with the Washington Post led to the resignation of President Nixon said the “factless” Trump is worse than Nixon.

"No president, including Richard Nixon, has been so ignorant of fact and disdains fact in the way this President-elect does,"

"What we have seen throughout the campaign is pathological disdain for the truth, a kind of lie, and ease with lying, that we have not seen before."
