(1,735 posts)One way to excuse Russia's interference. Pretty much B.S. And right wing theory. Who wrote this RT?

(249 posts)And not that the site is right wing or anything, but ad hominem attacks on a source are not sufficient to discount the validity of what they're saying. That's just an intellectually lazy way to dismiss someone without having to provide a counterpoint.

(249 posts)If I didn't know better, I'd assume people that agree with the point you just made have nothing substantial to say in defense of your opinions.

(42,649 posts)While we can debate, or possibly agree on who we feel would have been the better candidate, the very real GOP strategies to depress and suppress the vote cannot be ignored. If Democrats do not recognize that the GOP has engaged in voter suppression, and will continue to engage in it, we run the risk of many more of these very close elections that just happen to result in a close GOP win on the state and national level.
And agreed there was far too much talk of a blue wall, and far too much lack of attention to the ground game in these states, but Greg Palast's reporting on machine malfunction and spoiled ballots being concentrated in minority areas cannot be coincidental.
Unfortunately the US corporate media will not question the integrity of the voting process because that would be too much like actual investigative reporting and would call into question the GOP's motivations and tactics.
