Hacking, Fake News, Treason, Re-Vote, If Only Something Else...

But, none of those things are going to change reality. They're just not. We're wasting our time going over and over things that will not change a freaking thing.

Instead of a Postmortem, we would be better served with a forum where we discussed planning how to minimize the negative impact of a Trump administration and how we can work to take back Congress in 2018. But all that would require that we stop bickering among ourselves and try to come together to accomplish something that will be very, very difficult.

This forum will soon be gone and the replaying and recriminations will come to an end. See you all on the other side of January 20, I hope. Maybe we can figure out what we can do that will make a difference down the road.

Hasten the day!

leadership. every contested official needs to have a democrat on the ballot even if that democrat only gets one vote. that one vote getter servers as a focal and rallying point for other like minded people.

this plan works for local regional and states as well as federal.

We win by getting more votes than the other side. One vote at a time in every precinct in the country. You convince one other voter. Everyone does the same. That's how. That's all it takes.

Sure, some of the things you stated played a role.

Question: How big of a role?

Answer: We will never know.

We can't control those things.

As much as some people do not want to hear this, there were many missteps taken by Hillary. Those are the things that we can control in the future.

If we nominate another person with Hillary's bagge (real or perceived), another candidate that is incapable of connecting with voters and holding rallies the size of Sanders or Obama, someone who can't put a message together to sell their plan - then we are destined to keep losing. These are all things that are within the control of us and our party.
