Seems exhibiting a lack of enthusiasm over Hillary's popular vote "win" (as if she won anything other than bragging rights) is frowned upon as "bashing Democratic public figures" and suggesting it would be better to win 270 electoral votes is "spreading right-wing talking points."

I've got a couple of hides to prove it.

Not necessarily as quickly as the nation's demographics, but change is necessary and vital.

8. We lost. We didn't regain the Senate or the House, which we haven't had for the last 6 years.

While our lip-service to social and economic justice is far superior to the other guys, it is our actual commitment to that message, which includes cutting the voice of corporations out of the conversation already, that we need to change. We need to stop appearing as if we're playing our part in a game of good cop bad cop, and we have to stop thinking we are ever going to be anything but the minority party if we don't take on corporations and their media, rather than continuing to attempt to court them.

The systematic oppression that our entire political system supports is unsustainable. The system will all fall down, the choice is that which Rosa Luxemburg described: Socialism or Barbarism?

The overall popular vote does not matter. DOES NOT MATTER. there are zero elected offices decided by nationwide popular vote.

Geography matters for politics in this country. We need to make changes or otherwise find a way to break out of our limited metropolitan footprint.

12. We've been losing those seats, but not because we haven't reached out enough to white working class

In fact, candidates have neen reaching out to them TOO much, shape-shifting and running away from the Democratic base and principles, trying to convince them they're not all that different from conservative Republican candidates. The candidates who do that keep getting their asses kicked - as Harry Truman said, "Given a choice between a fake Republican and a real one, the public will choose the real Republican every time."
