Your line made me chuckle. I should put that in my sig file.

I haven't clicked on the link yet. I don't want to throw a wrinkle in my chuckle mojo.

Do you realllly think Obama is doing this stuff? I don't. I think there are powerful, dark
forces who do what the hell they want. I know this is so cynical and people don't want to
hear this, but it's one reason that I think the election will go to Romney. I think Obama has
probably had enough. He's a good egg. He's got a family to think about and these psycho-thugs
who have commandeered our government control it all with the President serving as a pretty piece
of eye candy for the masses--who like to still believe that we have a democracy.

President Obama ran on reinstating Habeas Corpus. He included it in his "Blueprint For America" when
he was campaigning. Who includes such an obscure reference when not many people even know what
Habeas is or that it is now GONE? A man who understands the importance of proper governance and
how government can be abusive--that's who. Obama knew that. He had the chance to reinstate Habeas
and not only did he NOT do it--he took us ten notches down from ever returning it. That's not what
Barack Obama believes. It's what the bastards running the show want.

I can't even click on the link.

Sure he's a nice guy within his sphere -- but he's also a canny and even Machiavellian politician. And I think he sized things up when he took office, thought about missteps by past Democratic presidents, and decided that his first priority was to get both the military and the CIA on his side.

Politically, that was probably a wise move. But in terms of what it's doing to this country's values, it was a deal with the devil and will be absolutely devastating in the long run. And especially if Obama thought of it as protecting his flank so that he could have enough operating room to put through his domestic agenda, it was a very bad bargain.
