★★★ HEDGES et al. vs OBAMA, Second Circuit Appeals Court ★★★

Our Second Circuit court date has been set for:

DATE: Wednesday, February 6, 2013
TIME: 10am EST
PLACE: New York

ADDRESS:
United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit - Thurgood Marshall Court
aka: Manhattan Foley Square Courthouse
Room 1505, 15th floor
40 Centre Street (40 Foley Square), NYC

Thurgood Marshal Courthouse on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thurgood_Marshall_United_States_Courthouse

(See below for further details.)

If you support our efforts to restore your rights and are in the New York area, please publicly show your support by joining us in court this day! The goal is to pack the courtroom to the point of overflowing. Your presence WILL make a difference!

Our lawyers have only been given 15 (!) minutes of hearing time and we expect the whole event to last for 1-2h only. A rather short session considering the importance of the coming decision and it's future impact - all the more reason for us to beg you all to come and bring your friends!

We have to make some waves to show our lawmakers what we think of the NDAA's indefinite detention provision, to show that we won't stand idly by while our civil liberties are being eroded bit by bit.

So join us, spread the word, invite your friends! Help us pack the courtroom to show the government that we demand our rights back!

And a small appeal on our own behalf:

We know that we don't have to say it really, but for the sake of completeness: Please be respectful in and outside the courtroom. As always, be excellent! To each other, the authorities, and in general

Feb. 6:

Jenna Pope

Just got back from the NDAA court hearing. I just stayed outside the courthouse with other protestors because the line was long to get in, but my friend Ted, who was waiting in line, came out and told me that security said both the court room and the overflow room were both full. In the end, the judges asked for more time to review the case before making a decision, and we don't know how long that will take, but it could possibly be months before we hear anything.

Or do you mean the ASCII characters in the Subject which didn't "translate" and which I have already edited?

Yep, that was it.
