Via Occupy Seattle:
The Gulf Port 7, who faced felony charges after using lockbox devices built by Austin Police infiltrators at the Port of Houston, have accepted a plea bargain today. This means that they accept the same misdemeanor charge faced by those who did not use the lockboxes and will not have to pay additional fees or serve more time.
Ronnie Garza, one of the 7 and a member of Occupy Austin said:
"We won. We got the charges we originally were expecting and we got 400 pages of emails, texts and embarrassing photos along with the names of 3 undercover officers. We also found the role the fusion centers played in all of this. All that is left is to reveal the name of a fourth undercover we recently found."
Sadly, another member of the group, Eric Marquez may face as much as another year in jail in the Dallas area.

(60,011 posts)Not to mention the pic of the undercover cop with a lock box between his legs.
Brief mention was made of the "fusion center" involvement.
I would have liked to know more about that.

(26,449 posts)Where the cops brought in an inflatable tent? I always thought that odd.
Were any of the UC cops in the chain under the tent?
